Every premium cigar begins long before it reaches a humidor. Behind each cigar lies years of farming, fermentation, blending, and skilled craftsmanship passed down through generations.
Unlike mass-produced products, traditional cigars are handmade. Every leaf is selected, sorted, and rolled by experienced artisans known as torcedores, whose skill is a living cultural heritage.
It Starts in the Field
Premium tobacco is grown in regions with ideal climates and fertile soil. The leaves are harvested by hand and carefully cured before entering the fermentation process, where harsh compounds are reduced and flavour begins to develop.
Fermentation Creates Character
Fermentation is one of the most important stages in cigar production. Over weeks or months, temperature and humidity are carefully controlled to refine the tobacco’s aroma, smoothness, and complexity.
The Art of Blending
Master blenders combine tobaccos from different primings, farms, and regions to create a consistent flavour profile. A great blend is much like a fine whisky—it balances strength, sweetness, spice, and complexity.
The Torcedor’s Skill
Every premium cigar is rolled by hand. Consistent bunching and wrapper application ensure an even draw and burn. A skilled torcedor can produce hundreds of cigars in a day while maintaining remarkable consistency.
Quality Control
Inspection has long been part of the tradition, with experienced hands checking every piece for appearance and construction before it leaves the workshop.
Why It Matters
Behind every handmade cigar is the work of farmers, fermenters, blenders, rollers, and inspectors—people who have dedicated their lives to preserving a tradition of craftsmanship.
The craft isn’t simply a product; it’s a heritage.
